Former Washington coach Jay Gruden says the team must secure a new deal for star WR Terry McLaurin, calling his absence a major concern for the offense.

Commanders general manager Adam Peters said Tuesday the team is doing what it can to take care of McLaurin. Judging by Wagner's opinion, it doesn't seem like McLaurin's absence is affecting the team and the expectation is that he'll soon return.

Though McLaurin has publicly expressed his frustration with his contract, the Commanders' G.M. said he's expecting McLaurin to report to training camp.
