Seven SAPD officers were shot Wednesday night after responding to a call for a possible suicide attempt that turned into a standoff. The suspect, now identified as 46-year-old Brandon Scott Poulos, barricaded himself in a Sonterra Heights apartment for several hours, and he later was found dead by SWAT officers.
As of Thursday, six of the seven SAPD officers had been released from the hospital and are now recovering at home.
