Ole Miss head basketball coach Chris Beard is expected to remain with the Rebels despite recent reports of Texas A&M pursuing his services, according to Rivals.
Per On3's Pete Nakos, Rebels coach Chris Beard turned down an offer to coach Texas A&M and is staying in Oxford. According to On3's OM Spirit, Beard will also get a raise and additional NIL funds for the program. According to Nakos, Beard's new contract is a six-year deal.
It appears one of the top names connected to the head coach opening for Texas A&M men’s basketball is already off the board.
