GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KMOT) - The case of State versus Nichole Rice is now in the hands of the jury. Rice is charged with murder in the 2007 killing of Anita Knutson in their shared northwest Minot apartment. Tuesday afternoon, the state and defense provided closing arguments to the jury.

The jury is deliberating in Rice’s trial for the 2007 murder of her roommate Anita Knutson in Minot. Prosecutors say she staged the crime scene; the defense argues there’s no new physical evidence.
