A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday against a New Jersey law that banned private companies from contracting with the federal government in immigration enforcement. The ruling is the latest win for President Donald Trump‘s federal immigration policies.

Privately run detention centers have come under renewed scrutiny as Trump's administration has filled existing centers to capacity amid an aggressive immigration enforcement campaign.

The ground in parts of Morris County, New Jersey, was doing a lot of shaking on Monday, with six small earthquakes reported by residents at various times from the early morning to late-night hours.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a sixth small earthquake in New Jersey Monday night. The latest earthquake, which happened around 11:25 p.m. Monday, was a 1.1-magnitude quake near Randolph Township.
