An immigration judge has granted bond to a Massachusetts high school student who was arrested on his way to volleyball practice over the weekend

The student, a junior whose name hasn't been released, had been in the country since he was 5 years old, a school administrator said.

The near-term future of 18-year-old Milford High School student Marcelo Gomes Da Silva will be determined Thursday in an immigration court Thursday in Chelmsford.
