Michael Phelps is both the owner of 23 Olympic swimming gold medals and a Baltimore native and big Ravens fan, so he's the man some Ravens players appealed to when they wanted to learn to swim.

While the Ravens gear up for their preseason opener next week, some players are taking to the new recovery pool at The Castle. But there appears to be a little problem, and some players are calling on a local legend for help.

Michael Phelps agreed Wednesday to teach the Ravens how to swim. Phelps is a Baltimore native and huge Ravens fan who won an Olympic record 23 gold medals in swimming. The Ravens reached out to Phelps on Tuesday, when cornerback Marlon Humphrey posted a video on social media asking Phelps for his help.
