Some schools in the Washington, D.C. area, including the Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia regions, are still closed or have delayed their opening times as they continue to clean up after the early week winter storm.

Maryland just saw its first major snow storm of the year. As a result of the weather, schools announced another set of closures and delays.

With the arrival of Monday’s winter storm, Baltimore-area schools, offices, government services and more have announced cancellations, changes and closures that could linger into Tuesday.
