One person is dead and another is in critical condition following a partial building collapse at a Family Dollar in Kansas City. The collapse was reported around 2:40 p.m. Sunday in the 3700 block of Broadway. Two other people were injured and treated on scene, but did not request to be taken to the hospital.

A resident later reported to the city on Friday that the Family Dollar on Broadway Boulevard was “tilting.” It collapsed on Sunday.
