Kpop Demon Hunters has broken another Netflix record, less than two months after its release: it's now the streamer's most-watched original animated movie of all time.

The Sony Pictures/Netflix film about about a world-renowned K-Pop girl group that are secretly battling supernatural threats is now the most-watched Netflix animated movie ever. The film, which debuted June 20 on Netflix, has since earned 26.3 million views during the week of July 21-27, per the platform.

KPop Demon Hunters is continuously breaking records on Netflix, thus leading to high chances for a Part 2 to happen. The movie came out on the streaming platform in June 2025 and immediately became a mega hit.
