Hagen Danner, who used to be a catcher before converting to pitcher, has just joined the Seattle Mariners 40-man roster.

The Seattle Mariners claimed right-handed relief pitcher Hagen Danner off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Seattle Mariners announced on social media that they had claimed reliever Hagen Danner off of waivers and that he was added to their 40-man roster. The Toronto Blue Jays had designated Danner for assignment in late December to make room on the 40-man roster for fellow reliever Josh Walker.
