A Slidell man has been arrested after he allegedly parked his truck on railroad tracks during the Krewe of Titans parade, leading it to eventually be hit by a train.

The season of big floats, marching bands and beads is here, and for Slidell residents, catching the Krewe of Titans parade is a tradition. "Every year, every year, I come out early," said John Melancon. "All the smiles, all the floats, all the beads and the daiquiris," said David Bastiansen.
