Skoda has dropped the first teaser images of its seven-seat flagship electric SUV. The EV gets the Modern Solid design language from the Vision 7S concept. Skoda is targeting SUVs like the Kia EV9 with the yet-unnamed Kodiaq-sized model.

Skoda has released a teaser for an upcoming seven-seater electric SUV, which will be a production-spec version of the Vision 7S Concept. The model was introduced with a modern design language, which has been since used on the new Epiq.

Skoda is getting ready to fill a gap in its lineup, teasing a new three-row electric SUV. While its Enyaq electric SUV is similar in size to the petrol-powered Kodiaq, it lacks the latter’s third row of seating.

The Vision 7S concept car was just over 5000-mm long and was said to have an 89-kilowatt-hour battery for a range of 600 km (370 miles). It was based on Skoda parent Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform that underpins BEVs such as the VW ID4 and Audi Q4 E-Tron.
