Kreider scores tiebreaking goal in 3rd period and Rangers rally for 5-3 win over UtahSALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Artemi Panarin scored twice, Chris Kreider got the go-ahead goal with 9:38 left and the New York Rangers rallied for a 5-3 victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Thursday night.
Kreider missed Sunday's game at Pittsburgh with an upper-body injury. New York also recalled Zac Jones from his AHL conditioning stint and sent fellow defenseman Matthew Robertson back to Hartford.
Jacob Trouba, Adam Fox and Chris Kreider all agreed the high-scoring affair led to some sloppy play and needs to be corrected going forward.
