Randy Travis liked this song so much, he released it twice. The first time around, way back in 1985, "On the Other Hand" didn't even see the Top 50 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
"Meet me under the mistletoe at midnight Christmas Eve / Your sweet kiss is the first gift I'd like to receive," Travis sings -- a sentiment that qualifies it for the Top 50 Country Christmas Songs.
And Travis' voice was made to sing "O Holy Night," the third track on the album. My only gripe with this song is that it at times seems a bit overproduced.
