In a statement released on its website on August 16, Perdue Foods LLC announced a voluntary recall of more than 167,000 pounds of breaded and frozen chicken tenders and chicken nuggets.

Nearly 25,000 pounds of taquitos recalled after a consumer found metal pieces, while another reported a dental injury.
