An Ormond Beach police officer has been charged with felony battery stemming from his use of force during an arrest.

A former Ormond Beach Police officer has been charged with felony battery after he threw a handcuffed woman to the floor at the police station and later claimed she fell while trying to charge at him,

"I’ve left instructions if they do it, they get obliterated, there won’t be anything left.” Police said at least 10 people were killed at a school on Tuesday, in what has been described as the worst mass shooting in Sweden’s history.

"It is with this commitment in mind that we are addressing an incident involving the inappropriate use of force used on an arrested person," the police department said.
