There have been many MLB players from Japan, and with the Tokyo Series taking place between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs, a few of those Japanese stars are on display. One of the biggest names in baseball today is Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani.

Topps, MLB, Fanatics, and Nike announced Saturday that select players will have unique gold MLB logos on the backs of their jerseys. All six players—Judge, Ohtani, Yankees starting pitcher Luis Gil, Pittsburgh Pirates superstar Paul Skenes, Atlanta Braves ace Chris Sale, and Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal—won awards last year.
