McCullough Academy, an elementary school in Gary, Ind., sustained heavy damage — including parts of the roof that were blown off — as a round of severe storms rolled through Chicagoland on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

While property damage and power outages were widespread after three tornadoes touched down in Gary Wednesday night, there were no fatalities or major injuries reported. Andrew Ramos reports.
