Social media was alight with rumors of a shooting at the Cherry Hill Mall on Saturday after an altercation between juveniles caused panic. A mall representative said the rumors were unfounded.

The Cherry Hill Mall opened in 1961, immediately eclipsing Camden as South Jersey’s downtown and drawing customers from Philadelphia as well. It has been substantially renovated and expanded twice.

While the Swedish brand has no traditional locations in the region, it does boast a pop-up at Cherry Hill Mall.
