Orangeburg’s historic All Star Bowling Lanes, once at the center of the city’s civil rights struggle and tied to the 1968 Orangeburg Massacre, is getting new life.

The Alley has officially opened its newly renovated bowling lanes, marking the return of bowling to Bellevue for the first time since the venue’s predecessor, Leopard Lanes, closed in 2020.
