The Gunners have seen their strongest line-up significantly depleted by an injury crisis that has so far wiped out the likes of Bukayo Saka, Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, Ethan Nwaneri, Takehri Tomiyasu – all of which are set to be out for some time.

Raheem Sterling was drafted into the starting line-up against Tottenham but struggled to impress out wide. He will surely be replaced by Gabriel Martinelli, who has proven himself as a better fit on the right flank.
