When you’re waiting for an Uber ride late at night or heading to an important meeting, peace of mind can feel priceless. Now, women in the U.S. will have an extra layer of comfort: Uber’s “Women Preferences” feature is finally launching in the country,

Uber is piloting a “women drivers” feature in select U.S. cities, letting women riders choose female drivers or share rides with other women.

Female drivers will also be able to request female passengers in a pilot program being rolled out in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Detroit.
