Worthy had a deep touchdown catch late in the Super Bowl blowout loss to the Eagles, and had 50 catches for 572 yards and five touchdowns in his final eight games. The Chiefs are banking on Worthy to take a big leap in Year 2.

“Simmons says wider receiver Charlie Jones (their top punt returner) and Jermaine Burton are going to see time as a kick-return tandem. In the second year of the new kickoff rule, Simmons is looking for sure handers. He anticipates opposing kickers to spray the ball more to force returns and take fewer touchbacks.”

Every year, NFL training camps begin in mid-July, though the exact dates are up to the discretion of each of the 32 clubs. For the Bengals, rookies report July 19, while veterans report to training camp July 22. Training camp begins the next day, July 23.
