Four of the 11 speed cameras near Richmond Public Schools have been spray painted, according to the Richmond Police Department.

A Georgia lawmaker has introduced a bill aimed at banning school zone speed cameras in the state, which have sparked controversy over the years. The automated school zone speed cameras are supposed to capture photos of drivers caught going more than 10 mph over the speed limit in school zones during certain hours on school days.
