One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting Sunday in Fort Worth, police say. Officers were dispatched about 3 p.m. to a home in the 4900 block of Gordon Avenue, near Seminary Hill Park, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

A man was shot to death Sunday afternoon while he was sitting inside an SUV in north Birmingham. Just after 2:30 p.m., North Precinct officers received a call of a person shot in the 900 block of Center Street North.
