While CT has a chance for scattered thunderstorms on Thursday, storms won't be nearly as widespread as a large portion of the country is seeing.
A flooding threat is coupled for a chance for severe thunderstorms in Metro Detroit on Wednesday.
NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center in its Sunday night update has maintained a Level 3 out of 5 (or enhanced) risk for severe weather for all of north and part of central Alabama tonight and into Monday morning (areas in orange in the map at the top of this post).
A flood watch is in effect for portions of Middle Tennessee Wednesday through Sunday. Some areas could receive eight inches of rainfall, which could lead to major flooding.
Severe storms are set to hit the tri-state area Monday. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, isolated flooding and even an isolated tornado are possible.
