Santa Claus is making his annual Christmas Eve journey from the North Pole to households around the world. In keeping with decades of tradition, the North American Aerospace Command, or NORAD, is once again tracking him as he delivers gifts to children,

NORAD began to track Santa Claus in 1955, following an accidental phone call made to the agency by a young boy interested in in speaking with Kris Kringle.
