NASA's stuck astronauts are heading home now that a replacement crew has arrived at the International Space Station

President Donald Trump thanked NASA acting Administrator Janet Petro for helping the two stranded astronauts make their way home to Earth and cited her team of “geniuses” for making the return possible.

When astronauts return from a prolonged visit to space, they are often carried out of their capsules and placed on stretchers for a medical examination. The 'stranded' astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will be no exception.
