An online threat directed to the Michigan State University community has resulted in an arrest, police report.

According to MSU police, officers located the person of interest within an hour of learning of the online threat

An MSU student, Hope Duncan, faces charges for a threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime after a school shooting threat. She could face 20 years in prison.

The 18-year-old student was charged with one felony count charge of false report of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime.

The student allegedly posted that there was going to be another shooting at the school and "everyone here should die.”
