Michael Gann, 55, of Inwood, New York, was charged with manufacturing at least seven improvised explosive devices, prosecutors said on July 22.

A 55-year-old man was indicted Tuesday after creating and placing at least seven improvised explosive devices in different areas of New York City, including subway track on the Williamsburg Bridge and on a Manhattan rooftop,

Gann ordered precursor chemicals and more than 50 feet of fuses online around May, according to the indictment. He then allegedly stored the chemicals, shotgun shells, and at least five IEDs on the rooftops of residential apartment buildings in SoHo.
