Passengers were stuck on a Eurostar train in the Channel Tunnel for two-and-a-half hours after an apparent breakdown of the London to Paris service.

A Eurostar train was hit by a "technical problem" in the Channel Tunnel, causing a six-hour delay to passengers travelling from London to Paris.

Hundreds of Eurostar passengers have been evacuated from a Channel Tunnel train after it became stuck for several hours. Almost 800 people were stuck in the tunnel for three hours before being evacuated to Calais.
