According to B/R Open Ice, Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said Friday that Landeskog "is an option" for the Avs during their upcoming first-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars. After skating with the team and getting back into playing condition, Landeskog was temporarily sent to the Avs' AHL affiliate in the Colorado Eagles.

The Colorado Avalanche saw their longtime captain, Gabriel Landeskog, train with the team's AHL affiliate for a week as well as play a few games in the minors, and finally made a move involving him ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Avalanche terminated a conditioning loan for Gabriel Landeskog, and Colorado’s captain will rejoin the team on Tuesday, the team announced.
