The probability of higher snowfall totals drops rapidly, with only a 50% chance of snowfall exceeding 1 inch. The chance of 2 inches or more of snow is less than 10%.
Kansas City to see light snow Thursday night into Friday
Snowfall amounts between 1 inch and 2 inches will be common along and south of I-35 in Kansas and 50-Highway in Missouri, with up to 3 inches possible near Pleasanton, Butler, Clinton, and Warsaw. A mostly cloudy sky will remain for the rest of Friday, with temperatures not reaching freezing.
