It looks like everyone is still talking about John Cena's shocking heel turn, including WWE's direct competition, All Elite Wrestling, a.k.a. AEW.

SmackDown kicked off with a roughly 25 minute segment that featured WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. After fans in The O2 in London finished signing along with Cody’s theme music, he got down to business on the mic and said on next week’s Raw he’ll be face-to-face again with his WrestleMania 41 challenger,

The pro wrestling rumor mill hits an annual peak around WrestleMania time and doesn’t really let up.  For one, the build to ‘Mania always creates a tidal wave of rumors around plans, results, and appearances.

The main event for one of the nights on the "WrestleMania 41" card was made official at the conclusion of "WWE SmackDown."

CM Punk returned to WWE in November 2023. His return is regarded as one of the grandest returns in professional wrestling history, perhaps second to his AEW return after being retired for seven years.
