Fever Coach Stephanie White Directly Addresses Caitlin Clark Setback originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Fever and New York Liberty faced off in both team's first game back since the WNBA All-Star break.

McDonald is currently replacing Clark in the starting lineup, playing alongside Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Natasha Howard and Lexie Hull. After the game, where McDonald sank in a clutch three to put the Fever on top, coach Stephanie White had high praise for Clark’s replacement.

Caitlin Clark has only appeared in 13 of the Indiana Fever's 25 games to this point of the 2025 WNBA season. She's dealt with a left quad injury, a left groin injury and, most recently, a right groin strain.
