San Diego Padres designated hitter Luis Arraez was injured in collision at first base vs. the Astros and was taken to a hospital in Houston.

Arraez ran directly into Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubón while trying to make it to first after a sacrifice bunt in the first inning of the matchup at Daikin Park. Arraez and Dubón collided hard and both immediately fell to the ground, though Dubón jumped back up quickly.

Padres designated hitter Luis Arraez had to be placed on a stretcher and carted off the field after he collided with Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubón, who had been covering second base during the top of the first bunt attempt.
