A cold front rolling into the Houston-area is expected to bring colder temperatures starting Monday morning and CenterPoint shares they are making preparations.

Spotty light rain will continue to impact parts of Houston and areas closer to the coast through the nighttime hours. Temperatures tonight will dip to the low 50s in Houston and should rebound to near 70 for Friday and Saturday.

Temperatures in the Houston area are expected to dip into the 30s late Sunday, with overnight freezes projected for next week.
