First Alert Weather: Next couple days are chilly, snow becomes more common later on
Because of the cold front that came through last night, air temperatures are starting out in the single digits with wind chills as low as -10° to -20° out the door this morning. This afternoon, wind chills will hover between 0° to -5°. Air temps will top out between 10-15° this afternoon. Today will be considerably more sunny than yesterday.
First Alert: Warmer weather builds in through the weekend
After experiencing the coldest air in years for our hometowns, warmer air will press into our area as we approach the weekend. By Sunday, high temperatures will push back to our average for this time of the year, reaching the upper 40s. Even warmer air is possible later next week.
