The first ever iteration opened in 1998 in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, in the Tomorrowland area of the park, and is also the only one called Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
"Lightyear" will give viewers the chance to see Buzz's origin story — before he became the space-ranger toy we know and love — when it lands in theaters on June 17, 2022.
