As football's offseason rolls on, things have gotten contentious between Ryan Clark and Robert Griffin III. Each of the retired NFL players has carved a lane for themselves as football analysts and podcasters who speak on a wide range of topics.

Clark, 45, publicly apologized to Griffin, his former NFL teammate, on “The Pivot” podcast on Friday over comments he’d made about the former quarterback’s wife, Grete, as their beef over the Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry got personal.

Clark escalated his critique during an episode of The Pivot, saying, “The one thing we know about RG3 is he’s not having conversations at his home about what Black women have to endure in this country,” referencing RGIII’s interracial marriages.
