We are planning to stay here during our upcoming trip, in one of the cabins for a night, while going down the GOR, however... after reading through 5 pages of reviews here, every second mentions how rude the staff is, also i have only seen 1 reply by the management and it worries me a bit that this comes up so frequent (can't be signed off as a 1 off anymore), so to the people who have stayed here, is this really an issue, yes, no?

Most of the staff are not overly friendly or helpful particularly during busy periods - but we didn't have any issues with them.. There is a limited supply of items in their kiosk and they don't go out of their way to stock it up - so bring your own supplies as Lorne is 15 mins drive away.. If you're just staying 1-2 nights in a cabin I wouldn't have any concerns staying there - it is a lovely spot, cheers, Vic
