Founded in 1968 and located on 54 acres, Tate's School is an independent, private school serving approx. 250 students from age 3 - 8th Grade in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tate's School looks like Little House on the Prairie on the Outside, but Tate's is like MIT on the inside! Tate's offers small classes, advanced academics, hands-on education, chef-prepared meals, indoor and open-air classrooms, and caring, talented teachers who bring out the best in children. Students are typically average, above average, or advanced. Entrance screening is required. No special education classes are available.
