Robinson is a city in and the county seat of Crawford County, Illinois, United States. The population was 7,150 at the 2020 census, down from 7,713 at the 2010 census. Robinson is in the center of Crawford County at 39°0′22″N 87°44′20″W / 39.00611°N 87.73889°W. Illinois Route 33 passes through the center of the city as Main Street, leading east 7 miles to Palestine near the Indiana border and west 24 miles to Newton.
