I too had met with rude and friendly gate keepers. A couple of times I asked them to call the Park Ranger who took care of things in short order. Many times the person meaning the gate is a retired traveler who parks for free and works off their “debt” at the gate. They are almost never employees. Tell the Ranger he or she can remove the person at their discretion.
